Terms and Conditions for the Circle of Excellence Private Members Club

Introduction 

1.Welcome to our private members club. By purchasing a membership and participating in our online and offline activities, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

2. Membership

Membership is granted upon successful payment of the membership fee ($480) and remains valid for 12 months. Membership is personal and non-transferable. Corporate memberships are available. Please enquire if you wish to involve people in your organisation in the members club. We reserve the right to approve, deny, or revoke memberships at our discretion.

3. Community Guidelines and Ethics

All members must adhere to the club’s Ethics Policy, which governs acceptable conduct within the community. Violations of the Ethics Policy may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of membership without refund.

4. Marketplace and Promotion

Members may post job listings and business opportunities in the designated marketplace section. Promotional content, including sales pitches, is prohibited outside the marketplace and approved events. Approval must be in writing (email) from the event organiser. Members may present their products and services only when explicitly invited to do so during live events or webinars.

5. Events and Networking

Members may participate in both online and offline events designed to encourage collaboration and networking. The club is not responsible for any interactions, agreements, or disputes arising from member connections.

6. Liability and Disclaimers

The club is not liable for any business transactions, investments, or partnerships formed between members. Members are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before engaging in business activities. While members are vetted, the club does not guarantee the quality, legitimacy, or reliability of any member.

7. Confidentiality

Members shall respect the confidentiality of business and personal information shared within the club. Unauthorised sharing of sensitive information may result in termination of membership.

8. Intellectual Property

Members must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. Content shared within the club remains the property of its respective owners unless explicitly stated otherwise. Members may not use any of the Circle of Excellence Private Members Club intellectual property for re-sale or use any business models as a speaker or coach/consultant unless they are an active certified coach within the community.

9. Termination of Membership

Membership may be terminated if a member is found to violate these Terms and Conditions or the Ethics Policy. No refunds will be issued for terminated memberships.

10. Amendments to Terms

The community reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes.

By joining, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions, ensuring a respectful and productive environment for all members.

ETHICS POLICY

Circle of Excellence Ethics Policy

Drafted February 2024: 

Our global entrepreneur community is built on trust, collaboration, and high ethical standards. By joining this community, members agree to uphold the following principles:

1. Integrity & Ethical Business Practices 

Members must operate with honesty, transparency, and fairness in all business dealings. No scams, fraudulent schemes, or unethical business practices will be tolerated. Members should act in good faith when engaging with others in the community. Members shall represent themselves truthfully, professionally, and in a non-misleading manner regarding their qualifications and experience.

2. Respect & Inclusion

We embrace diversity and inclusivity, welcoming members of all backgrounds, industries, and cultures. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated. Members shall not engage in any activity that limits or denies access to the marketplace based on economic factors, race, ethnicity, creed, colour, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or national origin.

3. Responsible Networking & Collaboration

Members are encouraged to build meaningful relationships and collaborate on projects. Solicitation of personal or financial information beyond the scope of a genuine business relationship is prohibited. Any disputes or disagreements should be resolved professionally and respectfully between the members Members shall maintain a collegial relationship with fellow members based on respect, professional courtesy, dignity, and high ethical standards.

4. Marketplace & Sales Conduct

Members may only promote their products, services, or investment opportunities within the designated marketplace section on the online site Sales-oriented posts in the main feed or forums are strictly prohibited. Promotion of products and services is allowed during webinars or live events only when explicitly agreed with Circle of Excellence or Moderators.

5. Trust & Community Safety

Members assume that participation in this community offers a safe space free from scams, misleading opportunities, or poor investments. You agree to uphold this focus in all your personal dealings with others While all members are vetted, the community is not liable for any individual interactions, business transactions, or partnerships formed within the network. Individual members agree to always hold the Circle of Excellence community in good standing in the marketplace Members shall maintain a collegial relationship with fellow members based on respect, professional courtesy, dignity, and high ethical standards. Members shall exert effort to understand the needs, goals, and culture of collaborators or clients before engaging in partnerships.

6. Intellectual Property & Professionalism

Members shall avoid using—either orally or in writing—materials, titles, or thematic creations originated by others unless approved in writing by the originator. Members shall operate their business and speak in a manner that upholds professionalism and does not bring discredit to themselves or the community.

7. Accountability & Enforcement

Members found violating these ethics may receive a warning or, in cases of blatant unethical behaviour, have their membership revoked without refund. Reports of misconduct will be reviewed by the ethics committee, and appropriate action will be taken.
